Can somebody help me what is the problem about this picture..

    Can somebody help me what is the problem about this picture..

    i really want to take a pic of fireworks and when i take it..the pic look to awful..yarkk!
    can somebody tell me what setting do i need..recommended lenses and so on..
    bellow is my work after several editing...can somebody give me a tips about taking a fireworks..
    thank you..and really appreciate it..

    Hello,

    These look like they're a pretty good start. It looks like you're using a slow shutter speed to get the fireworks to look like they're tracing lines in the sky. It's somewhat hard to tell, but if you aren't already, try using a tripod, so that the things in the bottom of the frame aren't blurred as well- that's from your camera moving when you shoot hand-held. It may also just be that the smoke from the fireworks are diffusing the light on you. Try shooting early in the night before that smoke accumulates at ground level; it looks like you have a lot less smoke in the first image but lots more as you progress... I don't think there's much you can do about that except zoom progressively tighter on just the fireworks that are highest in the sky.
